While our technicians are extremely careful, accidents can occasionally happen. If a house cleaning technician causes damage, Hubbard’s Maid Service will take responsibility. We are bonded and insured and cover smaller breakages up to $100. For larger situations, our general liability insurance applies.

Our technicians report any breakage immediately so we can notify you quickly and address the situation.

Normal wear and tear is not considered damage caused by our technicians. Things like loose door knobs, failing grout, or deteriorating caulking fall into this category. We also ask that items such as pictures or mirrors are securely mounted and able to handle light dusting pressure.

For any special instructions regarding your home, please contact the office rather than speaking directly with the technician. This ensures everything is properly documented in our system.

We also kindly ask clients not to solicit our employees for private work. Our team members are under employment agreements that prevent them from accepting side jobs without Hubbard’s Maid Service receiving a finder’s fee.

All supplies and equipment are provided by us, although we are happy to use yours if requested. Please note that we are not responsible for damages caused by customer-supplied products or equipment.
