At Hubbard’s Maid Service, we know that life doesn’t always run on schedule. That’s why we provide a flexible 7-day rescheduling option—you can adjust your cleaning date up to 7 days before or after your original appointment (based on availability).

But when a cleaning is skipped altogether, the effects go beyond an empty spot on the calendar. It impacts:

💙 Your Cleaning Professional’s Earnings – Our team members depend on steady schedules for their financial security. Last-minute cancellations without rescheduling can mean a loss of income for them.

At Hubbard’s Maid Service, we make every effort to send the same Cleaning Professional to your home for each visit. We know consistency matters, and having someone familiar with your space helps maintain the highest level of care.

That said, there may be times when your regular Pro is unavailable due to illness, time off, or other scheduling adjustments. In these situations, we’ll assign a substitute Cleaning Professional who is fully trained, background-checked, and trusted to deliver the same quality service you expect.

If you choose not to accept a substitute when your regular Pro is unavailable, your cleaning will be skipped. In such cases, the appointment is still charged under your Reserved Cleaning Commitment, as the time was set aside specifically for your home.

Please keep in mind that while we do our best to provide consistency, we cannot guarantee the same Cleaning Professional for every visit. Our scheduling system is designed to minimize drive time and group nearby homes together—helping us stay efficient, reliable, and punctual for all our clients.

✔️ If you need to adjust your appointment, you may reschedule within 5 days before or after your original cleaning date.

✔️ Your recurring service cycle will remain the same—future cleanings will continue on your regular schedule.

✔️ All reschedule requests must be submitted using our Reschedule Request Form to ensure accuracy and availability.

✔️ If a cleaning is skipped altogether, we’ll add extra time to your next visit so your home still receives the thorough care it deserves.

When you reschedule a visit, it’s simply a one-time adjustment—not a shift in your ongoing cleaning routine.

For example, if your bi-weekly service is normally scheduled for Wednesdays and you move one appointment to Friday, your next cleaning will still take place on the following Wednesday as originally planned. This ensures your home stays on its regular cleaning rhythm without disrupting the consistency of your service.

What Happens If a Cleaning Is Skipped?2025-08-22T13:44:07-04:00

If you decide to skip a scheduled visit rather than rescheduling, the regular cleaning fee will still apply. This policy ensures your Cleaning Professional receives the income reserved for them and allows us to maintain stability for our team and business operations.

Last-Minute Reschedules (Within 48 Hours)2025-08-22T13:44:45-04:00

We know that unexpected emergencies can arise. As a courtesy, each client is allowed one last-minute reschedule within 48 hours of a scheduled cleaning once every 12 months, at no additional cost—provided the situation qualifies as a true emergency (such as illness, hospitalization, or another unforeseen event).

After this one-time exception, any further reschedules requested within 48 hours of your cleaning will be treated as a skipped visit and charged in full under your Reserved Cleaning Commitment.

This policy ensures fairness to our Cleaning Professionals, who count on their scheduled visits for income, while also helping us maintain a dependable schedule for all of our clients.
